Posted

The NIH Grants Conference is just around the corner (February 1-2), but there’s plenty to do on the conference site now! This event is absolutely free, so register today. Once registered, visit the site and use our nifty tool to build your own personalized agenda, get a jump on viewing on-demand resources ahead of the conference, or explore the Exhibit Hall and make a plan to engage with staff from the NIH Institutes and programs during the conference. Don’t forget to save each of the dates on your calendar now: February 1 and February 2.

Here are three ways to prepare now to make the most of the conference and start the year strong, all available after logging in to the conference platform:

  1. Plan your conference experience with the Add to My Schedule button, which allows you to add sessions to a personalized agenda.screenshot of agenda found on conference site, with arrow pointing to "Add to my Schedule" button
  2. Browse the on-demand video library, filled with informative videos on key parts of the grants process and topics. Access it via the Agenda Planning tab and scrolling to the bottom.Screenshot of On-Demand video library, showing many different topics of videos on the grants process
If you missed any of the pre-conference events, all the recordings and slides are available on the conference calendar.  And there will be plenty of staff available during the conference to answer any lingering questions you may have on those pre-conference topics!
  3. Explore the Exhibit Hall, which is available 24/7 and features booths, resources, and contacts from 45 NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices, including special programs. Towards the end of the month, opportunities to schedule 1:1 chats with NIH staff will be available. General information about the Meet the Experts appointments is now available.screenshot of Exhibit Hall, showing booths from NIH exhibitors in the Central Resource room

As you can see, there’s no need to wait until February to start your NIH grants learning journey! We look forward to seeing you soon.
