In 2017, Changes to Post-submission Materials and Appendix Policies

Beginning with the January 25, 2017 application due date, NIH will change what post-submission materials are allowable, and will eliminate most appendix materials currently allowed in applications. In November 2016, NIH will update the application guide and all funding opportunity announcements to reflect the changes for due dates on or after January 25, 2017. We’ll also update frequently asked questions related to these policies, and announce their availability via the NIH Extramural Nexus as a reminder.
