Top 3 Reasons for Attending the NIH Regional Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration in San Diego this October

Posted

The NIH Regional Seminar is only 2 months away! If you’re considering attending, here are 3 reasons why you should act now:

#1:  There’s no other seminar quite like this one, developed & presented solely by NIH & HHS experts for those new to the NIH grants process. In fact, if you attend, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from over 45 different session topics provided by more than 50 grants, program, review and policy officials during the 2-day seminar and optional pre-seminar workshops.

#2:  It’s a great way to get all your questions about the NIH grants process answered! Who knows NIH better than our own NIH experts?  They are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with you through presentations, networking opportunities, and individual 1-on-1 meetings with you to answer more specific questions.

#3  There won’t be another NIH Regional Seminar offered until Spring/Summer 2016! Why wait another 6-8 months (or longer) for another opportunity like this one? Register today, while space is available and before the general registration rate deadline ends.

When? Wednesday, October 14, 2015 – Optional Pre-Seminar Workshops

Thursday-Friday, October 15-16, 2015 – 2-Day Seminar

Where?  Hilton San Diego Bayfront – San Diego, California

Agenda, Registration, & Hotel Info?  Check out all the details at http://regionalseminars.od.nih.gov/sandiego2015/.

We hope to see you there. Don’t forget to spread the word to those in your office or lab who may benefit from an opportunity like this as well!

  1. I am a Research Scientist in Milwaukee. I may apply for some grants from NIH within the next two years. This seminar workshop is great for me but too far away from my location. Will any of the future seminars organized near my location?

    Thank you!
