Not sure whether a particular activity should be reported in the biosketch, other support, or annual project reports? Check out this new resource – NIH Pre-award and Post-award Disclosures Relating to the Biographical Sketch and Other Support.
This consolidated table indicates where to disclose a wide range of activities, including
- Professional preparation (e.g., educational degrees)
- Organizational affiliations and appointments
- Academic, professional, or institutional appointments
- In-kind contributions
- Consulting
- And more!
There is one point you might wish to clarify in the chart. It says “Consulting that falls outside of an individual’s appointment; separate from institution’s agreement” whereas other NIH resources make it clear that this only refers to consulting that involves *conducting research*.
