Get Ready for the 2016 NIH Regional Seminars!

Posted

The National Institutes of Health is excited to announce that there will be two NIH Regional Seminars on Program Funding and Grants Administration in 2016! If you are new to the NIH grants process, then you will not want to miss attending one of these opportunities.

For two days, plus a third day of optional workshops, approximately 50 NIH & HHS grants management, review, program, and policy officers will be providing the latest in grant policies and process. In addition, there are even more NIH Institute and Center staff available for 15 minute one-on-one chats (a unique and popular opportunity for attendees).

  • Mark your calendars for the spring location in Baltimore, Maryland, May 11-13, 2016. Registration will open in January: 2016 Save the Date – Baltimore.
  • Details for the 2nd location are still pending but should also be available in January 2016. Plans are for this seminar to be held in the midwest or western United States.

The NIH Regional Seminar offers participants an unparalleled opportunity to gain a better perspective of NIH policies and programs, network with their peers, and gather helpful NIH contacts. The goal is for participants to return to their offices and/or labs with this new understanding, as well as a wealth of resources tools to assist them in obtaining and managing NIH awards. For more information, see NIH Guide Notice NOT-OD-16-026.

Let 2016 be the year you join us and your peers at a NIH Regional Seminar!
