The bi-annual NIH Regional Seminars on Program Funding and Grants Administration provide you with an exciting opportunity to meet and hear from NIH policy officials, grants management and program staff representing various Institutes and/or Centers, as well as representatives from the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW), Loan Repayment Program (LRP), the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR/STTR) program, and more.
Registration is open for the first of two regional seminars, set to will take place April 15-16 in Philadelphia, and registration is opening Friday, February 5, 2010 for the second, to be held on June 24-25 in the City of Roses: Portland, Oregon. At each seminar, experts in NIH grants policy and process will share a broad array of expertise on federal regulations and policies, highlighting current areas of special interest or concern. In addition, you’ll receive the most up-to-date information on submitting an application electronically and how to effectively utilize the eRA Commons. For some hands-on training, be sure to sign up for the optional eRA Computer Workshops held prior to the event.
