NIH’s SEED (Small business Education and Entrepreneurial Development) Office has launched a new website, a one-stop-shop for Small Business Program (SBIR/STTR) and academic entrepreneurship resources from across the NIH.
Who is seed.nih.gov for?
- Small business biomedical entrepreneurs, who may apply for or already hold SBIR/STTR awards, can check out open funding opportunities, our step-by-step infographic of the application process, and the business and commercialization support we provide to innovators.
- Academic researchers at over 100 research institutions can learn how the NIH Proof of Concept Network provides funding and expertise to turn their scientific discoveries into healthcare products.
- Investors and industry partners can find cutting edge NIH-funded technologies or seek out current awardees in specific scientific areas.
The new website showcases the impact of NIH’s Proof of Concept Network and Small Business Programs through a collection of 75 success stories demonstrating NIH’s role in turning discovery into health.
And we aren’t stopping here – additional content will roll out over the next several months to support NIH’s entrepreneurial community.
Follow SEED on Twitter or LinkedIn, subscribe to the Small Business email list, and check back to see what’s new on the website!
