The Office of Personnel Management has recently released new salary levels for the Executive Pay Scale. Effective January 6, 2019, the salary limitation for Executive Level II is $192,300.

Hello, I would like to confirm the policy on the paycap of salary for a university investigator (e.g. university PI) who is on a SBIR award with a small company. Is it correct to state that the NIH salary paycap applies to university awardees on a SBIR award as it does for other NIH grants such as R01’s and P01’s?
Yes, standard salary caps apply. For more information, see NOT-OD-19-099.
