Comment Policy

This is a moderated blog. All comments are reviewed before posting. Your comments are welcome at any time; however, comments submitted after hours or on weekends or holidays will be read and posted as early as possible the next business day.

We expect that participants will treat each other with respect. We will not post comments that contain vulgar language; personal attacks of any kind; offensive terms; or comments that target specific ethnic, racial, religious, age, or gender orientation groups. Comments that are spam, that are off-topic to the post they are submitted to, that promote services or products, that contain links to external websites, or that make unsupported accusations will not be posted. We also will not post comments that discuss specifics of individual grants or applications.

To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, do not include phone numbers or email addresses in the body of your comment. If you want to post your comment anonymously, include a pseudonym instead of your name when completing the online comment form. While your email address will not appear publicly on the site, you will still need to submit it with your comment.

We may edit for clarity or length or to remove inappropriate material. We may use the e-mail address you provide to contact you regarding changes or questions about your comment.

When posting subsequent comments, we ask that you use the same pseudonym so readers know that the comments are from the same person.

Reporters, please direct your questions to the NIH Office of Communications and Public Liaison at 301-496-5787. Reporter questions will not be posted or answered.
