New FAQs on Dealing with Potentially Proprietary Data Under NIH Sharing Policies

We’ve updated our FAQs to address questions regarding concerns when sharing scientific data that could be the subject of a patent application, or that were generated under SBIR/STTR awards:

• Do scientific data underlying an invention that is the subject of a patent application need to be shared? If so, when?
