NIH (including help desks) will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023 for the federal holiday (New Year’s Day). If a grant application due date falls on a federal holiday, the application deadline is automatically extended to the next business day.
Please be aware that the majority of federal workers have a Mon through Friday schedule. For these workers, holidays that fall on non-working days like Saturday or Sunday are often observed on Monday (if it happens in Sundays) or Thursday (if the holiday falls on Saturday).
