NIH will hold two NIH Regional Seminars on Program Funding and Grants Administration in 2017. This seminar is a great opportunity for investigators early in your career, research administrators and anyone new to working with the NIH grants process to connect with NIH and HHS staff in a central location. Attendees have the opportunity to meet individually through 1:1 meetings, as well as connect through presentations on topics that include the NIH peer review process and grant writing, finding the right funding opportunity, animals and human subjects in research, pre- and post- award management, electronic research administration, diversity in biomedical research, special programs, and so much more.  Pre-seminar workshops are also available for those wanting to delve further into areas such as Intellectual Property, Human Subjects Protections, electronic grants systems, and NIH grants pre-award policies and processes in “Administrator’s Boot Camp.”

Registration for the May seminar in New Orleans is now open. Don’t delay: sign up soon to learn all about NIH grants process, policies, and tools.
