Expanding ASSISTance to Additional Grant Programs in 2015

Posted

In 2015, applicants will have more submission options as ASSIST joins Grants.gov downloadable Adobe forms and system-to-system solutions as viable ways to submit grant applications to NIH.

ASSIST, NIH’s online system for application preparation and submission, was launched in 2012 for use with NIH’s complex, multi-project grant programs. Since that time, multi-project ASSIST users have benefited from pre-submission validations of Grants.gov and NIH business rules, pre-submission preview of application images in the NIH format and a host of other features. Over the next year, applicants to single-project programs will be able to take advantage of these same ASSIST features. NIH’s R03 and R21 grant programs will be supported in ASSIST at the end of January and support for additional programs will be announced throughout the year.

For more information about the rollout of ASSIST to single-project grant programs, please read NIH Guide Notice NOT-OD-15-044.
