New Resource for International Clinical Research Regulatory Information

Posted

ClinRegs is a new online database of country-specific clinical research regulatory information to help you explore regulations within a country and compare requirements across countries. The website, maintained by NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, compiles current regulatory information for multiple countries in a central resource, to help persons involved in planning and implementing international clinical research understand regulatory policies. Users can obtain a succinct overview of a country’s regulatory requirements related to a specific topic (such as sponsorship or ethics oversight) and compare requirements across multiple countries. Additionally, ClinRegs provides links to official regulations and other key resources related to international clinical research to facilitate independent analysis.

The ClinRegs website is in beta and currently contains information on 12 countries worldwide, with plans for expansion of countries and topic areas. Send feedback through their user survey or via email.
