On Thursday, March 6, NIH’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) office will hold a webinar on how the recent SBIR and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) reauthorization changes can affect small business’ application for due dates on or after the April deadline (remember, since the standard small business deadline of April 5, 2014 falls on a Saturday, the next deadline is Monday, April 7, 2014.)
NIH’s SBIR/STTR Program Coordinator Dr. Matthew Portnoy will discuss the registration and submission process for the SBIR and STTR programs, registering your small business, common submission errors, eligibility requirements for small businesses including small businesses backed by venture capital, the SBIR Direct Phase II funding opportunity, switching between the SBIR and STTR programs, and and other relevant updates. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the webinar.
