NIH is currently seeking a director for the Office of Policy for Extramural Research Administration. This position offers a unique and exciting opportunity to serve as a key member of the NIH director’s leadership team and be the primary advisor to the NIH director and the senior managers of the NIH institutes and centers on policy development that directly affects extramural research administration.
As director, this position has the authority to determine policy and direct the ethical implementation, coordination, and monitoring of all the business and administrative management policies affecting NIH grants and extramural cooperative agreement and awards programs.
