Can Administrative Supplements to Multi-project Activity Programs (e.g., P01, P20, U54) be Submitted Electronically?

Not yet. While NIH is accepting competing multi-project applications electronically, the capability to support electronically submitted administrative supplements for these grants is still under development. Until that capability is completed and announced, electronic submission options are not available for multi-project activity codes. So, if your grant activity code is listed in Part I. of the general “Administrative Supplements to Existing NIH Grants and Cooperative Agreements (Parent Admin Supp)” (PA-14-077), your administrative supplement request must be submitted using the paper-based PHS 398 application forms and process.
