Joel Snyderman joined OER’s Office of Policy for Extramural Research Administration, Division of Grants Compliance and Oversight as an Assistant Grants Compliance Officer in May 2010. He began his tenure with the National Institutes of Health in 2007 as a Program Analyst with the Division of Program Integrity in the Office of Management Assessment. In this role, he reviewed allegations of misuse of grant funds and made recommendations to grantees and NIH Institutes and Centers for corrective actions. Prior to joining NIH, he was a Management Analyst in the Office of Audit for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Inspector General.
