Dr. Dorit Zuk is a molecular biologist by training and was Deputy Editor of the journal Cell from 2000-2003 and the Editor of Molecular Cell from 2003-2007. In 2007-2008, she spent a year in OER as an AAAS Fellow in Science & Technology Policy and then took a position as Program Officer for Science Policy at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge, MA. She came back to OER in August 2009 as a Special Assistant to Dr. Sally Rockey, acting NIH Deputy Director for Extramural Research.
